Tony nominee Charlotte d'Amboise and John O'Hurley will return to Chicago as Roxie Hart and Billy Flynn, respectively, on November 1 at the Ambassador Theatre. They will be joined by Chicago newcomer Bahiyah Sayyed Gaines as Velma Kelly.
D'Amboise is a two-time Tony nominee for A Chorus Line and Jerome Robbins' Broadway. Her other Broadway credits include Sweet Charity, Contact, Company, Damn Yankees, Carrie, Song and Dance and Cats. This will be her eleventh engagement in the Broadway production of Chicago.
O’Hurley is best known for his recurring character J. Peterman from TV’s Seinfeld. He was runner-up in the first season of TV’s Dancing With the Stars and has hosted Family Feud. O’Hurley has appeared in the Las Vegas production of Spamalot as well as the national tour of Chicago.
Gaines' Broadway credits include The Color Purple, The Little Mermaid, Pal Joey and Memphis.
Chicago currently stars Kara DioGuardi as Roxie, Amra-Faye Wright as Velma, Tony Yazbeck as Billy, Carole Woods as Mama Morton, Chris Sullivan as Amos and R. Lowe as Mary Sunshine. The long-running revival will celebrate its 15th anniversary on November 14.
